 How do you improve soft skills for a CA profession?

Soft skills are now days very important for every person to learn irrespective of whether you are doing job, business or any else kind of work. As in today dynamic environment every should possess these soft skills for growth and prosperity. But what mostly CA faced problem is that they lack soft skills thus becomes a big barrier in their success. So these are some ways to improve your soft skills but only useful if you implement them in your daily life.
  • Self Talk - No one knows you better than you. Yes, You… Either in the morning or at evening talk to yourself about the day what you are going to do or what is happened. By this way you can boost your confidence and know yourself more.
  • Improve English - If you are going for corporate world then first thing they notice is your communication and fluency in English. So try to read books, novels, newspaper and watch English films/series. Trust me this will help you very much and most important start thinking in English as usually what we do is think in Hindi and then translated it into English which takes lot of time as well as creates confusion.
  • Communication Skills - Here you need to work on your personality, gestures, hand movements and most important your confidence. Look into the eyes of person to whom you are talking as it leads to a good understanding. Everyday stand in-fort of the mirror and talk like if you are talking to someone and look upon your body language, gestures and as i said, you knows better yourself so you will be your own mentor at this point and in your whole life.
  • Socialize yourself - Try to interact with people more and talk with them in English as it will boost your confidence. Even at first they make jokes on you but never let this negative comments stops you from your goal.
  • Writing/Reading - Reading is the best thing as it will surely improve your vocabulary and start writing day journal as it will make your thoughts more precise and you can also write answers on Quora where you will definitely get appreciation for your writings.
